Live Like Royalty in a Florence Villa

I was on a road trip with my family across Italy when we booked Park Palace.  Upon entry to the lobby, we can’t help but be awed by the grandness of the villa. It was truly a jaw-dropping experience.

250A5114Surrounded by the Tuscan hills, Park Palace is a historic Florentine villa offering 26 lovely rooms, well-kept pool, manicured lawns and enough parking for your entourage. The place is so peaceful, you wouldn’t know that you’re just a 5 minute bus ride from central Florence (or a short 20 minute walk to Florence’s Cathedral, Uffizi Gallery, Boboli Gardens and Ponte Vecchio).

At breakfast, we enjoyed a rich buffet in the very elegant dining hall that includes many home-made products, freshly baked croissants, cheeses and fresh fruits. During summer, it is served on the terrace overlooking the grounds.

Total relaxation is guaranteed in the hotel’s reading lounge with a very ornate fireplace, antique pieces of furniture and Persian rugs.

My family and I loved it so much, we ended up staying an extra day. I have stayed in several places in Florence and to be honest, none of the other places hold a candle to the Park Palace.
